LifeCare Counseling Services is a private practice providing individual, marriage and family counseling to residents of Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Kokomo, and Zionsville, Indiana as well as surrounding counties. We hire only qualified professional psychologists or counselors who are mature Christians capable of being licensed in the state of Indiana.

A successful candidate for the Counseling Associate's position will possess a minimum of a masters degree in a counseling-related field AND no less than five [5] years post-masters counseling experience in a mental health setting.

Preference is given to applicants with a Ph.D. [or Psy.D.] from an accredited doctoral program in counseling or clinical psychology with an accredited one year full-time internship training program.

Applicants earning a degree from a distant learning program can not be considered.

Excellent communication skills as well as an easy-going personality is required.

All interested applicants should be willing to provide Christian counseling "upon request" only, have some knowledge of biblical principles and scripture, as well as a belief system which is consistent with the Apostle's Creed.

We give strong consideration to applicants with a special interests in working with women's issues and can provide individual, marriage, and family counseling as well as those with depression, anxiety, parent-child conflicts, infidelity issues, ADD/ADHD, communication problems, step-parenting issues, and treat a few teenagers with personal problems. Applicant should be able to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and deal with stress of life issues with patients.

The successful candidate will be willing to work on a part-time basis and earnings are in the range of $35,000 to $45,000 depending on positive people skills and ability to develop strong working relationships with patients.

No marketing by Counseling Associates is required or allowed. Associate’s responsibilities are to assess, diagnose and treat patients with a variety of personal problems.  Extensive histories are taken during the assessment phase of therapy and brief notes of counseling sessions during treatment are the only other clinical responsibilities of the Associate. Administrative duties are limited to scheduling patient appointments and returning patient phone calls. Internal marketing with prospective and established patients is expected from Associates.
